Standard Arts is an award-winning creative studio founded in 2003.
We ideate and execute compelling stories by curating world-class creative, production, and post-production teams.
We have over 15 years’ experience directing and producing broadcast television, as well as ads and branded content.
Our films have screened (and won awards) at festivals all over the world, and we have recently published our first book.
Standard Arts founder and President, Carlos Puga, was born in Santiago, Chile. He grew up in Miami, FL and studied at NYU. He enjoys hanging with Meredith and Charlie (wife and son, respectively), surfing with Toby (dog) and riding motorcycles (sometimes also with Toby).
He has never had a cup of coffee.

EMMY Award
Carlos Puga was awarded a Daytime Emmy for producing MTV’s documentary series True Life, which he has Directed, Produced and Executive Produced through Standard Arts for over 15 years.
SXSW Jury Award - Feature Film
“All That I Am” (written and directed by Carlos Puga), produced by Standard Arts, premiered at and was awarded a Jury Award at SXSW 2013.
SUNDANCE GRAND JURY NOMINEE - SHORT FILm
